We’re back for another year of feeding the hungry participants of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s RoadBlock Run! Set against the beautiful backdrop of Arthur’s Seat, this foamy fun-run is on Sunday 10th September and this year it’s going to be bigger and better than ever with brand new obstacles taking over Holyrood Park to get you climbing, sliding and bouncing your way to the finish line.
The emphasis is very much on fun and foam so get ready to battle your way through the brand new Biff ‘n’ Bash obstacle course and throw yourselves down the 20ft Slip ‘n’ Slide– no barb wires, ice baths or 6ft walls in sight! The legendary Foam Pit and Foam Canon are back to make sure the foamiest run in Edinburgh remains just that!
Everyone really gets into the spirit of the day and over the years the RoadBlock Run has seen some impressive fancy dress, from animals to minions, and grannies to royalty. Not to mention there’s always a superhero or two at hand to help you along the way. Although fancy dress is optional, prizes are up for grabs and always encouraged!
Join the fun in the heart of Edinburgh this September – it’s a fantastic day out and all for a great cause! RoadBlock Runners have helped raise nearly £290,000 for CHSS since 2009 to support people in Scotland who are struggling to live with lung disease, heart disease or the effects of a stroke.
Participants are asked to raise an additional £40 in sponsorship for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland on top of the registration fee. CHSS can offer support with raising sponsorship too.
